#164 What Happened in Sabah part 1

been nearly two weeks since i back to west Malaysia, is time to post about Sabah before it faded away. =)

Basically went to Sabah for almost 6 weeks just for 3 + 2 weeks practical.
First stop is Jabatan Perkhidmatan Haiwan dan Perusahan Ternak (JPHPT) in Keningau. From KK it took us nearly 3 hours drive to Keningau. those naik bukit turun bukit drive. and Some nice scenery along the way =).

calf calf calf. they came, they survive? or they die? is hard to predict sometime

newly imported breed from Australia

is my first practical with cattle! kinda learn everything from zero, luckily we have a very nice supervisor that like to sing, like to joke, like to share, like to teach =)

drink drink drink! u will be healthy

working hard

bath time! say bye bye to ticks

practical = action rather than theory !
how to restrain a cattle? post mortem? temperature, pulse, respiration rate? pregnancy diagnosis? blood sampling? herding? milking? milk quality? treatment?

maggot wound !!!! hate them!!!

the long winding road
so much of nice scenery here. cattle grazing in distance, lush green paddock, mesmerizing sunset
we surrounded by photogenic scenery =D

took this picture before 7am
one thing about the Borneo island is the sun shined and the night fall earlier here. (like one hour earlier).
