yeah! finished large animal practice. is my FIRST time working with horses and they are aaaaawesome.
but feel sad bout them. i mean horses are not pet animal. sometimes they are put to sleep when they lose their value... as an endurance horse, as riding horse. etc...sad kan ? still this giant creature is soft and gentle. they are cute <3 lo-ve

一字排开的零食

容了我们三个星期的狗窝=）。厨房，冰箱，冷气都有，算是不错的员工宿舍。只是厕所和厨房都是公用的，前两个星期得与另外6名diploma实习生一起共用，还好。但等到第三周时，5人组的同学加入实习，变成 13 人共用四间厕所，还要突然间宿舍闹水荒，不得不走到办公室的厕所洗澡。苦啊。

虽然如此，这宿舍还是容下了我们许多的欢笑与回忆 =）

as this post named, what you want to be in the future?

me, i will become a vet, if is god's will

i'm not the child that wanted to be a doc or even a vet.

my ambition was once teacher

but i rather like kids nor adult. ~~they~~ we are all complicated. and i hate thinking and interpreting about what one's thought , act

when i grew older, i like hand crafting, pictures. then i hope i can become an illustrator.

but i always trap inside the box .

the failed quality of an illustrator.

then there was once that i fall in love with history, and started my crazy love to ancient architecture. the beauty of combination of science, art and the society.

but when it was the time that i needed to choose between physic and biology during high school

i took biology cause i knew i will never able to understand physic.

bio was fun, and i'm enjoying study biodiversity, animals, plants. which i decided to take vet. med. course in the future. it was merely an ambition, more like a dream cause i will never to have the result that qualify me to study vet. med.

but fortunately, i ended up here, studying vet. med.

and going to start forth year soon.

still "what i want to be in the future" still bothering me

small animal clinic? govt sector? farm? wildlife? pharmaceutical? feed mil? research?

so much of uncertain in life huh

been nearly two weeks since i back to west Malaysia, is time to post about Sabah before it faded away. =)

Basically went to Sabah for almost 6 weeks just for 3 + 2 weeks practical.

First stop is Jabatan Perkhidmatan Haiwan dan Perusahan Ternak (JPHPT) in Keningau. From KK it took us nearly 3 hours drive to Keningau. those naik bukit turun bukit drive. and Some nice scenery along the way =).

is my first practical with cattle! kinda learn everything from zero, luckily we have a very nice supervisor that like to sing, like to joke, like to share, like to teach =)

counting down for another 3 weeks before enter study week and exam weeks~ fuh~ this semester damn fast ! and my brain still lagging =/

supposed to doing clinical pathology (CP) case study and preparing parasitology presentation for next week! but, really need a break for now (=
not having a good night sleep last night after had tea in the evening and cham for dinner! overdose of caffeine is so torturing =( make me half awake all night and the blood parameters from CP were all stuck in head....argh~~~

test 2 suck! im so not knowing what the feck that i was answering!! expecting teruk results )=

missing my girls badly, ffk for two weeks already! i hate having class on friday evening =/

will be heading to sabah for 5 weeks practical and 1 week travel around sabah and brunei =) looking forward road trip to kudat (best known as tip of Broneo) but before that need to go through final =/

just a summary of school these days
test 1 finally over and welcome back some peaceful normal life (not really normal)
Morning rounds were interesting, guess our knowledge grow wiser these days =)
went to horse PE section the other day which was hell interesting ! Hobo, our study model was huge and friendly =D (red head collar with light brown coat = a good colour combination =3 wtf) like the reflection of myself at hobo's eye so dark and deep ~~~~
Tuesday had our second round of surgery, this time we get a male dog and practiced orchiectomy. Me, the asst. nurse wander around again =X , also learning some anesthetic work, will be my turn as anesthetist, Scary >.< and ended up with mild to moderate backache after standing for 7 freaking hours =.=

Well, if you stuck with me for the pass week, sure you will know that the faculty of veterinary medicine of UPM was moved to the new complex. Finally!

Back in old fac, everything seem to be so darn near, there were just one corridor (er...not really ONLY one lah....), and can easily access to any places you want to go. And now, in the new fac, there are so many freaking cabang that lead to somewhere else.
Argh~ first day already felt pretty tired >.<. But, still cant wait to explore UVH =)

the long-waited holiday is finally here
nothing much i have done so far, is not productive in terms of anything related to academic,
just started a few pages on pharmacology and already bored with it. Argh~ who will have mood to study during holiday ??
well, the productive part is =) picking up a lots of things lately,
something that i have not been done for ages. =D
went for book fair twice, and finally decided to buy a book.. A book,yeah.... there were thousand and thousand of books selling there with unbelievable low price, and i just picked one. T.T Argh~cause bo lui bo lui. (still havent recover from money spent on airtickets ;_;)
anyway, bought The Lost Symbol (chinese version)....been dying to read this book, and finally found it in book fair with only rm.15.90....muhahaha...(like spending the least money for any nice thing..just to satisfied myself = ='').
Well, the book is amazing T.T, cant really remembered when was the last time i read something that able to 'entangle' (ermm) me for long hours =)...Dan Brown is amazing writer! he just able to lead readers into the scenes created! and im enjoying google every places, paintings, people mentioned...Really having fun reading it! highly recommend if u enjoy reading The Da Vinci Code! and is even better =)

and ya, my dear wan chin is finally back to malaysia with two books for her dear fren ;)

'the Mutt book' ...*LOL..this is funniest doggie book i ever read! *LOL
it mentioned breeds like Labra-coat Foxtriever, Pointing Greydane, Labradoodle (okay,i never heard any of them - . -) and they also kindly insert a "DOGnosis' (-.-'''''') column at the side which indicate the mutt's ancestry
e.g. Labra-coat Foxtriever.
DOGnosis: Labrador Retriever, Flat-Coated Retriever, Foxhound, Weimaraner

and another book entitle 'A Time of Mourning'. She noes me well, a detective novel!! is better than any self-enrichment book -. - i'm a total failure in these kind book, from 'the monk who sold his Ferrari', Five people you meet in heaven' to 'tuesday with morrie' etc etc... never finish any of those! tho i really tried hard to hypnotized myself to.........

the last post was bout our morning walk at peneng's esplanade.
From Esplanade, we took bus back to hotel, but we took the wrong bus and end at the jetty

the next stop is our favourite spot, Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion. It is the top most place i wanted to visit in peneng
Tho the entrance fee is rm12, it really worth it!

the tour was only open at certain hour of the day, tho we missed the morning section, we managed to join the evening tour at 3
the tour was last for bout an hour, and during the tour there were this young lady explaining to us the history of the family, the feng shui behind and also the renovation work of the mansion.
We learnt that the mansion was once belong to Mr. Cheong Fatt Tze and his 7th wife. When Mr. Cheong passed away, his son was only few years old. He mentioned in his will that the mansion can not be sold until his last son die. However, the family unable to maintain it, they had to rent out room by room and at the end even the corridor.
only when the son of Mr. Cheong die at the late 1980s, the mansion goes into market and bought by a few architects. Hence the restoration process began and it took up years for the full renovation before open to public.

these are commonly seen in old chinese houses, which butterfly represent happiness.

like the colour of the wall very much. (= During the restoration of the mansion, the wall was painted with indigo powder from india (was once used in cloth whitening) instead of using normal blue paint that can buy in the market now. y? because the wall absorbed the underground water. during daytime, the moisture will evaporate to cool the house. If usual paint is use, the moisture will trap inside the porous wall and soon the paint will peel off and the wall will fall off too. Hence, by avoid using normal paint, the mansion can be well maintain (=

the decoration around the pillar were originally from broken bowls and plates. Colourful broken dishes were cut into different shape and pasted on the wall to form different pictures.

the mansion is symmetrical. Both the left and right wings are the same. Air well is located at the middle of the mansion that function to collect rain water and evaporate to cool down the mansion.

Peneng bridge

yes, i was away to peneng for a 3days 2 nights friend getaways =)

After 5 hours of sitting in the bus, we reached sg. nibong terminal safe and soundly. From they we hopped on to Rapid Peneng to Chulia street. I must say that, Rapid's services is awesome. Compare to Rapid KL, the bus is cleaner, the driver is definitely friendlier by giving us lotsa of information and the bus itself also disable friendly =). after aligned at King street, we met a tourist from Holland, who kindly lead us to Love Lane where our hotel located.

we booked a room at old peneng guest ho use for 3 days. Although the room is pretty small, it is cozy =D room rate was rm50 per room per night for twin room

the guest house still remain the original floor tile. likes the colour !

After settle down, we went for lunch at 4.15pm >.<

同班了三年

form 4 时，大家都奔向各自的理想
她选择了art stream
见面的机会少了
但有时一起补完account 后

闲话家常

spm 后同一个地方打工
常常 '蛇' 去找她打发时间
那时候我们都说不要留下读中六
可是最后只有她闯了出去

生活的步伐开始变得沉重
但依然相伴，互相鼓励
看着对方的脱变与成长

读了四年的diploma in business admin
现在她要去英国了考degree 了
对不起，
没有灿烂的farewell party
但希望我们一箩箩的祝福
能保佑她一路顺风，

but it really different from malaysia version of bak kut teh

there are less taste of herbs of their soup

however, it is so famous and visited by lots of famous celebrities and politicians

a student received no stress from the boss,

there are plenty of holidays

there is no office politic

u no need to worry about financial status (well, some parents will cashed in every month, some with ptptn loan, jpa etc)

pay less for some luxury kolej (okayyy, not tat luxury, but at least a roof above and cosy environment)

there are lecturer feeding you with knowledge

you can get students price with your students pass

no need to trap in the traffic everyday

able to sneak out, enjoy urself, without giving any solid reason (well, still cant skipped class everyday lah)

no need to be punctual (if u think punctuality is not a thing, u can late for class, but u cant late for work)

stay up late and skip the next day

etc

okie,

may be.... sometimes need to suffer some exam stress, crapping some assignments, dealing with some nasty lecturers

well, is still not that bad rite

And the best thing is it is a short term job =)

you can be a vet, an scientist, an engineer, a doctor, a chemist, an office lady, a business man for the rest of your life

but, u will not be a student for the rest of your life (well, of course, if you able to continue study in campus for the rest of your life, this is bless from God)

been sleeping quite late for few weeks.
After all those long hours of study for test and assignments, need some times to adjust back to the normal biological clock.

Anyway, no proper posts here since dunnoe when d.
was too ~~lazy~~ busy to post.
so, here an update of a pathetic student =P

sem4 is so darn hectic
the schedule is soso, but we were thrown with piles of

assignments and also the non-stop SCL (student centered learning) thingie.

Now, we having full time anatomy class with Dr. Shanti

Well, not said she is not a good or what

just that sometimes she make us stress. very very very stress

However, anatomy practical class conducted far more better than last time

at least, we dun need to squeeze here and there from one table to the other to listen to the lecturer.

cuz i score very very bad during my last sem ruminant production with Dr. H T-T
So i need to revise a bit on it

*Sigh* wasting my two hours in the class listen to the so call 'seminar' which is actually presentation by students themselves.
Hope he can put more afford in lecturing us according to his synopsis after this new year break, if not i will definitely not give him 'face' when the evaluation form in my hand = =

She dressed darn elegance, she owned expensive sport cars, my fren fell for her attractive voice.
But when come to teaching, she just not the everyone want to be lecturer...

This is some sort of syringe that used to inject the hen.

EDS for 18th weeks old hens.

Injection may be as easy as finger tip, but we need to climb up and step on the feed trough to inject the hens in the upper cages. And of course we get scratched. Wound-ly hand T.T

This is the debeaking machine used to remove part of the beak from the chicks to reduce cannibalism.

Hundreds and hundreds of eggs can be collected per house in less that 30 minutes.

cant really see anything from this pic but just to show the 4 storeys cages, also the small 5 watt little bulb and the long never ending corridor.
Each of this chicken house can housed up to 4 million chickens O.O (imagine the numbers of eggs can be produced each day...*amazed )

About the Food :
The foods here are definitely fine with me. (just i having difficulty in ordering food = = , most of the people here speak hokien, and i pulak used to order food in canto = = wth).
The famous Kolo mee here taste like wantan mee but more Kolo (dry). The price is quite cheap too, around rm2.6-2.8.
Laksa here is different from west m'sia, instead of using those partly see through mee, they use bihun like mee which turn out to be pretty good too.
Mee Java from Gwen's mum shop (located at Kuching's Cinatown, the second restaurant on your left from the entrance). It taste nice

and they got crispy chicken =)

If you like Western food then Chef at Home (hope i remember the rite name) is a must visit restaurant. Chicken chop and Garlic Grilled Fish are absolutely the top of the list. The cocktail also not bad. Fat breaker>>>yummy yummy~~~

1. just back from 3 days 2 nights annual vet camp in PD
tho just ajk, but really having fun there. =)....
the place quite nice, it is so near to the sea but at the same time so close to the jungle.
but ...sadly, no stars like last vet camp =/ light polution =/ haiz
but but but, had nice experience went up the hill to check out the war game site =), which is darn slippery and slope and lots of mosquitoes too......=/
and one of the course mate pointed out a wild boar trap to us @.@ thats dangerous k
anyway, war game turn out to be on the kaki bukit =(
and the 'war' really crazy!!! =D
